IATA’s Regional Director,Mr. Kashif Khalid has joined theAdvisory Board of the 6th International Procurement and Supply Chain Conference 2021 by Blue Ocean Academyto offer his expert guidance for the conference.

Currently, he is leading the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) industry activities and projects in the Middle East & Africa region by providing leadership and guidance to Airlines, Airports, ANSP's, Civil Aviation Authorities, Security Agencies and Governments to further develop IATA’s mission, projects and advocacy initiatives.

Former Head - Assets & Acquisitions at Abu Dhabi Airports, Mr. Khalid was managing the Global M&A function for the government entity as well as the development, modernization, and operations strategy of the Airports portfolio, which included multi-billiondollar infrastructure investment and development programs, including Abu Dhabi’s crowning jewel, the iconic 700,000 sqm Midfield Terminal Building (MTB).

Previously Mr. Khalid has held senior executive positions with eminent organizations like Dubai Government, Abu Dhabi Sovereign Wealth Fund, Citi and British Airways. Kashif graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York in International Business & Economics and holds an MS-IB as well. His professional credentials include an advanced diploma in Airport Planning and Finance, IAP – International Airports Professional and the ACI - Airport Executive Leadership Program (AELP).
