Secretary General - Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport & Consultant with SCALA

Mr. Keith Newton who is a Senior Consultant for logistics and supply chain operations has joined the Advisory Board of Blue Ocean Academy’s 6th International Procurement and Supply Chain Conference 2021 to offer his expert opinion on designing the outcome of the event. At present, Mr. Newton is the Secretary General of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and a senior consultant with renowned supply chain consultancy SCALA.

Mr. Newton possesses an acute understanding of the global SCM landscape and has extensively worked across brands in the UK and Ireland towards the creation of successful work and ethics culture within the international supply chain industry. His core areas of expertise include distribution, manufacturing, planning and implementation.

His robust professional experience spanning over three decades has seen him working for top global brands like Cadbury and Kraft Foods. His strategies and work methodology are customer and demand driven, something that lies at the heart of every successful business. Mr. Newton graduated from Durham University before venturing out to work in the supply chain industry. He was awarded the IGD Business Transformation Award in 2009 in recognition of his outstanding professional achievements.
