Mr. Nawaf Al Awadhi who is a Director at du has joined Blue Ocean Academy’s 6th International Procurement and Supply Chain Conference 2021 as a Speaker at the event.
Currently Nawaf is the Director of Commercial Sourcing at du, one of UAE’s leading telecom partners and is instrumental for leading and managing teams that are responsible for the sourcing and the procurement of different categories of products and services.He is also responsible for enhancing the department with the best strategic procurement processes and practices for exceeding the market quality standards.He has an acute understanding of the supply chain complexities and possesses excellent strategic vision in procurement and logistics.
A seasoned procurement and logistics specialist, Nawaf has previously worked in Senior leadership roles for some of the UAE’s top leading companies like Emirates and Jumeirah Group. Nawaf is a member of The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS). He is also a Member of the UAE Government Executive Leadership program.
Nawaf holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information System, Business Administration and Management and an MBA from Canadian University Dubai. He is also qualified with multiple certifications like UAEGLP, DBA, MCIPS and SSGB.At present, he is pursuing his Doctor of Business Administration and Management from the University of Sharjah.
